Wintry Forest – Colours and yarn amounts for my wall hangings

Today part 1 of Ana’s Wintry Forest Cal was released. Lots of fun to all who follow the Cal.

My wall hangers are finally decorated in our living room and I love them, love them, love them.

For those who are interested here some details:

My Colours

Even though I’ve already shown the colours in a previous post, here they are again:

I used

Cream, Mocha, Grey and a little bit of Denim – all from Stylecraft Special DK
and Stonewash from King Cole Comfort DK (that‘s the lovely blue on the upper left)

and worked with a 4 mm hook.

You will find detailed information about the colours I used for each row / pattern in my next post as download.

I love yarn and I love working with yarn. I especially love crochet and Tunisian crochet. Sometimes I test crochet patterns, sometimes I design something myself and sometimes I just make something nice for myself.

    1. I leave the double border slightly open on the upper sides so that I can push a rod through. For this size of wall hanging it is probably better to do this at the bottom as well so that they get a bit more weight. I had to do a bit of trickery when hanging them up to make them hang straight. I hope this answers your question? 💕
